We are pleased to announce, Canalside Burano, 2017, by photographer Pete Davies, will be exhibited at the John Lewis Community Hub, Grand Central, Birmingham, 31 May – 26 June 2018.

Burano, in the Venetian Lagoon, is under threat from rising sea levels.  Enjoying a walk along the colourful canals of Burano may exist only in the memories of former visitors and residents, as a consequence of changing climate.

Based in Birmingham, Pete Davies began making photographs in the age of film over 25 years ago, in the darkroom he constructed at home.

Photography is a perfect accompaniment to his broad interests in the natural world, including walking, nature, astronomy and industrial archaeology.

Join us at the John Lewis Community Hub, Grand Central, Birmingham, from 31 May to 26 June, to view our exhibition, Reclaiming Our Future.
